If you are interested in getting general liability or worker's compensation insurance for your business, we'll be happy to discuss your needs and get you a quote with one of the many insurance companies we represent. It makes no difference whether your business has been around for decades or is brand new, whether it has many employees or is a sole proprietor, just you. We've been in the commercial insurance business for over 40 years and have worked with many different businesses. We've got the experience. When you call us, please have the following information available:
• Your Business Name
• The number of persons employed by your business.
• Your contact information - name, address, home phone, cell phone, e-mail address and company website if available.
• SIC code - this is a unique trade code that specifies the division, major group, or industry of your respective business
• Your legal entity - Are you a sole proprietor, joint venture, corporation, partnership, limited liability corporation, municipality or trust.
• Number of years you have been in business
• Gross annual payroll
• Gross annual revenue
• Years of owner experience
• Brief description of business
• Information about any current policies you have
• Coverage preferences
You should contact your current insurance carrier for 3 -5 years of loss runs. These will be needed to review past losses or claims that may have occurred.
Additional information is required for quoting commercial auto policies, including vehicle and driver information.
The information gathered will be forwarded to one of our commercial insurance agents to begin working on your business insurance quote. The process usually takes a few days while we work with underwriters to find the most competitive quote for you. Not all insurance companies will insure your business. Some specialize in working only with certain types of businesses, within certain limits. For example an insurance company may work with builders, but only those whose projects are under a certain height limit. Some companies have coastal limits, which in our area is always a factor.
For your convenience we also provide personal insurance quotes for renters' insurance, personal auto, homeowners, flood, boats/watercraft and jewelry.
