Because business usage of a vehicle can vary from that of personal usage, there are commercial auto insurance policies to address these needs. Sometimes referred to as fleet insurance, commercial car insurance, or truck insurance these policies are written and rated differently than your personal auto policy. Both provide similar coverage for things like liability, collision, comprehensive, medical payments and uninsured motorists, but there may be exclusions and limits that differ from your personal auto policy. It can be difficult to figure out just what kind of commerical auto coverage you may need, there are also considerations that need to be made when employees use their own vehicles for business use.
If you use your vehicle for both business and personal use we'll help you determine how to insure your vehicle. Our agents can sit down with you and determine how best to cover either your personal or business vehicles. They'll help you decide what coverage limits and deductible amounts you may want for your policy.
